I'm going to be off the internet for these 38 days till the A levels. This is it, and whatever we got and whatever we didn't get for the prelims or our other exams, forget it. We just have these 38 days to make or break everything we've studied and worked for the past 12 years. We can do this!

Just finished (FINALLY) The September issue.




First about Vogue. I just died. My brother sat through 5min and said it's the most boring movie ever. Watch it, and you can understand why Anna wintour is the legend she is and Vogue is the love of so many people, including me. I need to get my own British Vogue subscription. You see Thakoon, the genius, trembling on the way to Anna's office. And the Vogue editors, senior and junior alike, agreeing to everything Anna says. Except for Grace, i love Grace Coddington. It's so funny when they 'fight'. Grace just drives Anna crazy, and she simply loves it. And Andre Leon Talley who tries to lose weight in a full set of Louis Vuitton props, because "winer inaugrated him to lose weight" and it "intervened, and saved his life...so (he) took up tennis".It would be great if a movie which documents Anna's rise to the editor in chief comes out. I would be the first one with the tickets! Devil wears Prada was dreamy and dramatised, but the way the office functions seem to be more or less the same. Her daughter is so different from her, and it's sad how Anna's family thinks that her work is 'Amusing'. She looked so sad in her interview. Her daughter says she won't work in fashion. "I'm going to law school". "It's kind of amusing how people make fashion so important." Sadly, Singapore does not have a vogue. Our 'equivalent' is far from Anna's work. Last year for my birthday, mum bought me this book on Vogue history. I haven't started on it yet, because i would need 3 days i'm going to finish it. Wait till A levels are over. And everything was just so, divine. Haha, all the feathers and furs is making me woozy. To top it all off, Sienna Miller! Although i don't like her as much as Kate Moss, pictures wise only.

Okay, prelims over and i've been not craving for fun. The only i thing i craved for was sleep. And i sure as did slept a whole lot. I went shopping yesterday, but didn't buy anything. It's so dull, i feel bored. But it's just a momentary emotion since the fear of A levels will be creeping in any time. Had a gooood long cell group yesterday and sigh, i hope we'll still stay connected even with different people at different parts of the globe.

Work expands to fill time right, i give myself 1 week to finish revision and the rest of the time left to love on past year papers.

Haha, i'm horrible. I NEVER follow my 'hiatus' declarations. The papers so far have been crazy. None of them were easy of course, for me. I think i'll do the worst for Chem this time. Paper 3 was OMGGGGGGGG. Tmr, i've gotta killll, but i've this strong feeling something's going to screw up tmr. Okay, optimism right? I'm not a cheery chirpy birdy yknow. Okay, but anyway, i want to do my best for the rest of the papers and then fast forward past my getting back of papers to the crazy 4weeks of heaven. I can't believe vj is going to push me out soon like an impatient parent. Everything, slow down right now.


Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves. No?
